My current project as far as getting to grips with linux goes is to install several distros and try them out for a while. So far I have partitioned the drive and hopefully discovered what to do next. Here goes, fingers crossed.
Please let us know how you get on. Once the website gets kicked into shape (Martyn, are you out there?) then a (unbiased?) newbie's experiences with some distributions would be ideal material to link into it. I know traditionally people here advocate either Debian or SuSE (is that right?), but broadening horizons would be good. -- MJR
