Well Laurie if you had taken the time to look at FAQ which is at http://www.alug.org.uk/articles/2001a/alugfaq.html and under the section headed "Is advertising permitted on the list?" you will see that Gavin is fine and within what is allowed. Also I would like to point out that before Gavins first post to the list he emailed me to make sure it was ok and I told him it was only if he kept within the guidelines which he has done.
