Surely this is an early April Fool! Perhaps if I con the World into using a inferior product, charge them an inflated price for it and make an obscene amount of money out of it. And if I give what is a paltry amount of my total wealth that is so small I don't even notice it to charity maybe I can get a seat in the House of Lords.
Turns my stomach when I think of the people who make real personal sacrifice for the same sort of cause who won't even get recognised.
Cheers, BJ

Nothing new isn't there? But hang on, I thought knighthoods were only for the UK? Hrm.
Blah, I just need my cup of tea and I'll be right as rain.

hat must mean Sadam Hussien's changes of getting one have improved... We've obviously run out of worthy people to give them to.
I did hear that Bill is well in with Blair, maybe that's how it works?

Ignore it and do something more useful, if we've got any sense. Honours are archaic and irrelevant. If TPTB want to make themselves look silly, let them. It is better to campaign against software patents, bad things in the "EU Intellectual Property Directive" and other threats, than to bother much with one man. That said, maybe we can suggest Prince Charles has a pie ready at investiture?
