Imust apologise for double posting the same question to the list. I assumed as the first one did not appear in the next list, or the following one that it had not arrived, therefore I posted an ammended version on Sunday.

I have found various suggestions for an /etc/fstab entry that will enable me to access, read and write to and from the floppy in various places on newsgroups and Slackware related sites, however none of them seem to actually work, (they probably do, I expect it's mainly incompetence on my part).
