Hi fellow Linux users.
I am still im desperate need for a laptop. After only being in the linux world for a short while my Samsung laptop died.
I am now without a laptop and have to grab the odd minute on my wifes Windows machine.
Does anyone have an old laptop laying around doing nothing, that I could dust off and make use of?
An old P1 or P2 would be fine. I would only be running Xubuntu or DSL-N.
I live in Watton but can travel.

There's a chap in Norwich market who refurbishes them - he had an excellent one last week (?) - been scuffed a bit, so was cheap, but new bits and pieces, battery, &c. If I'd had the money, I would have snapped it up.
Bound to have been sold by now, but he's worth a try - may have all sorts of old new stuff... He had a pile of ex-school (or ex-firm) Asus Eees a couple of weeks ago.
He's at the top of the second row, opposite the stall which specialises in leatherwork and secondhand books.
Is there anyone on this list in the Ipswich area looking for occasional graphics design work mainly for websites?
Preferred skills are familiarity with CSS and if possible Joomla/Wordpress templates.
Anyone interested reply here on the list or please email me to discuss. Some examples of work to look at would be top!
Cheers, Laurie.

If you'd like to travel to Wymondham, I have an IBM Thinkpad 600 which I no longer use. It has Mandriva installed on it and a wireless card in it. It's far from quick but if it gets you out of a hole, you're welcome to borrow, or even keep if we can come to a suitable arrangement.
I was going to put in on ebay soon anyway.
