Hi Folks, To compare notes -- would anyone like to try playing the video linked to from the news article at http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/cn%5Fnews%5Fcambridge/ DisplayArticle.asp?ID=396400 When I clock on the "play" arrow, it crashes my Iceweasel (2.0.0.19 on Debian Etch). If I right-click on the image, I get a pop-up which makes it look as though the video is intended for Flash Player 9. I have Flash Player 9 installed, and have often used it successfully on other sites. With thanks, Ted. -------------------------------------------------------------------- E-Mail: (Ted Harding) <Ted.Harding@manchester.ac.uk> Fax-to-email: +44 (0)870 094 0861 Date: 04-Mar-09 Time: 16:56:57 ------------------------------ XFMail ------------------------------
Works fine for me here (flash 9 still in the ndisplugin wrapper because I haven't installed the 64bit native one yet)

Works fine here in Slackware / Firefox 2.x.x.x / Flash 9.0 r115 natively. Is your Flash 64bit? Srdjan
And, here - using Flash Player 10.0.15.3 from debian-multimedia.org with Iceweasel (i.e. Firefox) 3.0.5 on Debian Testing AMD64. Peter.
