Hi, I have a slight problem in that when a user tries to login to my redhat 6.1 system they get kicked straight back to the login screen. Only the root user can login! How can I fix this?

Sounds like a PAM problem... what's in your /etc/pam.d/login file?

Or does /etc/nologin exist?
