I was speaking with somebody on sunday about RTLinux, and they were saying something about the licenseing issues.. well, this has just poped up on slashdot.. I have no idea who I was talking with, or what the implications are, I'm just passing info to the list and hoping it gets to the right person ;)

Hi Neill
Good news indeed - Also of interest is some of the links behind the story. http://www.linuxdevices.com/news/NS1998372965.html
It demonstrates the willingless of the FSF to pursue third parties that see fit to impose restrictions on GPL software using such techniques as dubious patent claims.
It does not mean that I will continue to use rtlinux - Having just got rtai up and running with a 2.4.9 kernel, I now have another path to follow.
