Just been lurking for a while as we have been mega busy at work coping with the aftershocks from a major product release.
However I have been following the discussions :o)
Just a quick note to say that I haven't forgotten a whole list of things I put my name to, e.g.
- T-Shirts/Sweatshirts - Contacting someone at The Forum about use of exhibition/demo spaces - Taking ownership of the graphics web page - Distro survey page - Name badges
I'm off on my hols for the next couple of weeks but I will start addressing these once I get back.. promise... honest!
Will definitely be there on the 28th in the audience only, sorry my knowledge is far too scanty to try and BS anyone else on this list!
As I live round the corner it's not likely that I can offer any lifts but I'm happy to ferry people back and forth from the train station or bus stops. Just e-mail me off list if I can help in any way.
And following on from the discussion about meetings, my general view is that I will try and get along to any meeting I can where my time isn't preempted by other commitments. So the point about what's a reasonable distance really breaks down into how long it takes to travel there and back. My gut feel is that anything over an hour is probably too long. But then if it's something like a Debian install and config. workshop....
Hasta Lavista!
