I think given our failed attempt (network quality not good enough,
machine spec not high enough), I think I'd better talk about our
alternative solution of network management systems. ;-)

I think it may be more interesting to either just have an XML/XSLT
talk, or perhaps Paul would be able to talk about the background of
the Apache Server Foundation (home to the Cocoon project)? It's a
subject I ought to know more about and would like to know about.
Cocoon itself is probably still too fast-moving a target to do a
useful talk on.

Is there a newbie up for this?
Perhaps it would be a good early talk to have "Introducing the new
ALUG website". Things are happening, just far too slowly. It ought
to be ready to accept new users in a week, max, though. On Wednesday
I get fed up and do DNS-buggering to give it a temporary home ;-)
