ALUG meeting 17 June

Hi all, The Hive has been booked for the afternoon of 17 June. Sadly the 10 June is taken up by a ball. Is this a reasonable date to aim for? It's right on the end of term, so I'd like to get publicity out this week. Anyone volunteering to "do stuff" at this meeting? MJR

Help for a new Newbie - Please

I have recently installed Linux-Mandrake 7.2 and am enjoyng it. However when I log off there appears a "Failed Message" shortly before "Power Down". It says "Saving mixer settings aumix: error opening mixer [failed]" Is this important ? what should I do about it ? I shall be glad to hear from anyone who can tel me what this is all about.
