For those interested but not keeping tabs on online life ;) Evolution 1.0 is out. Debs expected in unstable... Well, sometime soon. I'm personally running 0.99.0 right now with no problems. Although it is with a local imap server :). Regards to all, James Green

Beep! How do I stop this?

Currently I'm using Black Box or WindowMaker as window managers. (mainly windowmaker). HOWEVER, they both make an annoying beep (via the motherboard- a system beep like when you boot up, rather than thru the soundcard) every hour on the hour. Very annoying when you're playing a DVD! I can't seem to find a setting in either manager to stop this, nor can I find any reference in their respective docs. It doesn't do it in Gnome or <shudder> KDE. Haven't tried Xfce (yet). ODBC driver

Hello, all: Can anyone recommend an ODBC driver i can use on the debian box: I want to go off and access data from an ms access database held on an NT server, bring it back, and display it on a web page. I can find "libiodbc", but this seems to be a driver manager rather than a driver. Thanks, Jenny.
