Yep. Don't use a topic/subject of "Problem!" or "HEEELLLP!!!!!" or "prb wth lnx on my hm PC", use something meaningful like "Need help with 2.0.7 smbmount syntax".
When composing a question, include error messages, because the next person to see said message will search on that in deja looking for an answer to it. Also, include full descriptions, with as much information as possible, especially segments of logs, again, something to search for.
Deja, and its ilk, are invaluable tools for technical support, and I try to write so as to include the sort of text that I would search for were I to be in the same position (which, of course, I am at the time).
Cheers, Laurie.
