Linux Install Day 2002 -- UEA, 9th June, 2pm - Announce

On the 9th of June we will be doing a [6]LinuxInstallDay2002, that
   means you get to bring your computer along and the team of highly
   trained Linux experts (aka press-ganged monkeys) will attempt to
   install Linux on your computer for you. If you do wish to have an
   install done then please subscribe to the mailing list and say so,
   then at least we will get an idea of numbers and any strange hardware
   you may have and can be prepared for it. (Note you don't have to tell
   the list, It may make the install easier though)
The meeting will be at UEA Norwich in Constable Terrace main common
   room at 2:00pm, hosted by David Casal (and others at UEA?)
We should have a fair amount of kit there if you want to come along
   and take a look at what GNU/Linux is and what it does before you make
   any commmitment to getting it installed. Hopefully there will be some
   Demo CDs available to try, too.
