McGintys pub is in the centre of Ipswich, not far from our old haunt - The Milestone. It's directly opposite the town's central library and has a reputation for good Irish beer.
All are welcome, novices and experienced users. Feel free to ask for further information on the Main ALUG mailing list.
Nothing particular planned this month, though I'm sure we'll end up covering broadband speeds again, if only briefly, now that Infinity is being rolled out (nowhere near us, I hasten to add). I may have a whinge about nvidia graphics drivers, as well.
Remember to call (mail me in advance for my mobile no.) or email me, if you're arriving later and want to ensure I don't wander off, which might happen if the turn-out hits rock-bottom ...
Hope to see you there,
Peter.

We're going abandon the billing of regular tutorials again, due to lack of enough people willing to commit to present every few months or so. However, we're all for occasional ones and this month's should be a treat. Our own Adam has mentioned a few times about a system he's been working on with rtorrent and flexget that combine to make an apparently rather beautiful combination of rss and torrents, that basically allows you to automatically download TV episodes, anime, films, whatever you set it up for really. It's primarily meant for TV and has a lot to assist with that usage, but with monkeying you can use it for other things too.
Adam has kindly agreed to put together a presentation for us on just how it all fits together. Looks like it should be a good meet!
Peter.
