Can somebody help me please? I need to access my Linux files from within windoze. I've managed to lose my password so I can't log on to Linux. Anybody got any ideas? Pretty please. Dave

fortunately the version I'm using allowed me to log on as single. (Mandrake 7) so it is all sorted now, but thanks for your suggestions and help. now prevent someone else doing it to my system, I need to know how to disable it..... Gentus Linux

Those of you who were at the last meet at Syleham will recall the difficulty I had getting Linux to install with my Abit BE6 motherboard's ATA66 IDE controller. Gentus Linux http://www.gentus.com/ seems to be an answer to this problem, a Red Hat based distro from the makers of the offending motherboard specifically targeted at the ATA66 IDE controller problem. I'm downloading it at the moment 675Mb over 56k modem link! So anybody trying to give me a voice call expect an answer sometime after Euro 2004. :-) Cheers, BJ
