As for Airsnort its just a free version of a package I saw for windows which did all the same stuff. If you run 802.11 then you need to run IPSec over the top, its the only way of making it secure. John, how much is the venue hire this time? Is it more if the bar is opened, or do they need to take a certain amount?

What I'm going to suggest is that maybe the Alug could have an area on the web site or even FTP space (not anonymous however!) so that members can share files easily without having to use the mailing list for this sort of thing (i.e. just point the URL in the body of the message).
