I did this - the modules used were axnet_cs and i82365, I then remade the
kernel using the net module that was axnet_cs, but there was nothing for
i82365 (that i could see in the pcmcia section); this is now what the
laptop is complaining about (the lack of i82365) hence my wonder if i could
actually just stuff it all from one to the other.
