Its No Joke... its very serious! Neill has a serious problem expressing his dislike of certain things...especially where programming is concerned. Delaying tactics

Hi, Thanks to Adam I now have a working network between my Linux machine and my Acorn Risc PC but in trying to mount the Risc PC discs I have created a problem. I have put some lines in the /etc/fstab file to mount -smbfs the 4 drives on the PC but I see errors when I boot the Linux box, presumably because at that point SMB is not running. What can I do to overcome the errors? Hi, After a few days head scratching I thought I'd ask this one. Basically what I want to do is this: I have 2 files one containing urls called url with each url on a new line and another containing words called keywords with each keyword on a new line I want to search the url file for each of the keywords in the keyword file and output any matches to the file output I can do this for individual keywords using awk '/word1/||/word2/||/word3/' url > output But I need a way to do it for a load of keywords. Anyone got any thoughts? Cheers, Ben

You're #including the same file twice? I think this is why there's often an #ifndef FOO_H\n#define FOO_H 1\n<file>#endif in them. -- MJR

Hi, On IRC Monday I asked a brief question about the kerneli patches, and he (? scoobz) said they had no problems... question is, before I settle on that, has anyone else had experience with that, or any other linux encryption fs? Thankyou! Andrew
