Hi all,
I spoke on the phone to the owners of the St Augustine's Centre,
King's Lynn, and it *looks like* it will be possible to hold some
meetings there. However, they want to know what we're looking for in
a venue so they can see give us the most appropriate room before
committing to anything. So, the question is: what do we want from a
venue?
(FWIW, I doubt the centre cafe will be open at weekends, but a shop is
at the end of the road and a pub is around two hundred metres away,
don't fret.)
I could also do with any help from this area in setting up, if
possible, and reminding by past venue organisers how much has been
paid for their venues.
I've got my eye on mid-March, but my desire for ALUG to visit Essex
for a first time is still undiminished if anyone is able to organise
things for there.
