Free Software Experts needed by EU

I would encourage anyone who thinks they may have the neccesary experience to look into the opportunity offered by the request from the EU for experts on Free Software. see: http://fsfeurope.org/ & http://www.linux.org.uk/ I did take part in a similar exercise, on another matter, some years ago, run by the then commission of the EEC. They were surprisingly receptive to outside input. This would help to give them the views of Linux users, and is in itself a worthwhile experience, which, for those of you still in the employment market, looks good on your CV! John Seago

Hello again, I wondered where some of those who I used to read had gone, and now having a period before the pain killers take effect I managed by going through the archives to find the social list. Is there a guide to what is available through ALUG, Jenny Hopkins pointed me in the direction of a book list which I can't find a link to, (and have lost, since having my hardware upgrade), what else is there, and where can I find it please? As a very new user of the internet, I quite often sit in bemused fascination in front of my screen, so I've probably committed some Internet etiquette clanger, if so please forgive me. John Seago
