LinkNorfolk coming to Newton Flotman

For anyone who follows the spread of BB networks - the Five Villages BroadBand project, based around the Poringland, Framingham Earl, Stoke Holy Cross area, is very close to signing a contract with wireless provider Link Norfolk. They plan to install a node on the mast at Stoke Holy Cross which will serve an area of approx 18 kilometres radius. Expected to be up and running within 2-3 months. BTW, for anyone who has not seen it, there is an excellent site here: http://www.samknows.com/broadband This site has what must be some of the most detailed info on the exchanges and adsl registrations available. I have a "blog" up and running again at http://mjr.towers.org.uk/blog/ with another page for AFFS things. I'll upload the code that runs it (Ma Bloss) this weekend. Do other ALUGgers blog? Enough for a wiki page? Enough for a planet?
