ISTR posting asking for opinions on a cheaper palm-compat which came preinstalled with LinuxDA to uk.comp.sys.palmtops. Maybe you feel like cutting some edges? ;-) I think you've just had a rogue bad palm and shouldn't judge the whole field of palm-compats on one bad experience. I also wouldn't buy an ipaq as MS get your money even if you nux it, but that's a more personal choice, I guess.
