few probs with mandrake 8.1

Hi, I'm a Linux newbie and I have Mandrake 8.1 installed. I've got these things bugging me: OpenGL is extremly slow(I have a Geforce2 pro card), On Gnome-stones, 'New game' doesn't do anything, DrakeLogo doesn't run. Can someone help? DougT(dougie(a)retallackthompson.freeserve.co.uk)

There once was a lug group from Eton Who had difficulty arranging a meeting When it all fizzled out and came down to nowt They went to the pub instead to do eating. Sigh. Well, it *is* friday, what more do you expect.
