Hi all, Largely because I've found out I can't make it to Syleham, I'm proposing a post-birthday bash pubmeet at the Reindeer on Sunday evening. That's an extra pubmeet in addition to the usual 2nd Thursday :) (I missed last months!) So I'm suggesting: ALUG 10th birthday after-party Reindeer public house Dereham road Norwich Sunday 3rd May Any time from 7 or so (I gather the birthday do finishes about 6). Not really social per se, but probably nearer being on topic than if sent to the main list ... although I do wonder how many people this will actually reach as a result, but hey ho. :) In a nutshell, for various reasons I'm looking for new accommodation, and was wondering if any of the Ipswich department were renting out a room, or considering doing so for extra income? I'd much prefer to live with technically inclined people if possible, hence this missive. I'm an excellent tenant, most of the time you'd not know I was even in the house. There was some talk on the IRC channel yesterday about visiting the Norwich Beer Festival at St Andrews hall tonight. Who's in? I definitely am. What time shall we meet and where? --Simon

Pudding Day

It is decreed that next Sunday, i.e. 10 June, will be Pudding Day. You are invited to come to Mayes Close (Norwich) from noon until midnight or any part of that time, to partake of puddings and cakes of various kinds, some savoury but most sweet. We are leaving Mayes Close soon, and also it's sfr's birthday on Wednesday. Please come and say goodbye, and help us use up the baking ingredients and Viv's pudding collection.
