I would encourage anyone who thinks they may have the neccesary experience to look into the opportunity offered by the request from the EU for experts on Free Software.

I did take part in a similar exercise, on another matter, some years ago, run by the then commission of the EEC. They were surprisingly receptive to outside input. This would help to give them the views of Linux users, and is in itself a worthwhile experience, which, for those of you still in the employment market, looks good on your CV!
