Some while back, the UEA Society sent out an email to all alumni regarding a 90s reunion sometime next year. Would anybody consider going? I'm giving it some thought - and it would be nice to see Norwich again.

I'll probably see what other people are doing ;-) I'd not heard anything of it before your email. Some details are at http://www1.uea.ac.uk/cm/home/services/units/mac/daro/alumni/events/1990s+UE... 1990s UEA Reunion
Sadly, they're using the terrible yahoogroups, so I'll not be subscribing for updates - whatever happened to the UEA listserver?

The email that was sent out was this:

Dear Alumni
As you may know we hold an annual campus reunion, and have welcomed back alumni from the 60s, 70s and 80s over the last three years. It's now the turn of 1990s alumni who will be invited to return on 1 July 2007. We are starting to plan for this, but would love to know what 90s alumni would really like from a reunion so that we can make the event as successful as possible.
We would be very grateful if you could take two minutes to complete a very short online questionnaire to help us get an idea of what would make 90s alumni want to come back! To do this, simply click on the following link:

We look forward to sending you more information about the reunion early in the new year. In the meantime, please spread the word to your 90s cohorts and encourage them to pass on their email address to us so they don't miss out!

Eww. I can understand not subscribing! to! Yahoo! Groups!. If they were going to use a third party service, Google Groups might have been a better choice (but only slightly). It looks as if the Alumni email was sent out as an Exchange contact list rather than through a proper listserv.
