OpenGL is extremly slow(I have a Geforce2 pro card),
You will need to d/l the NVIDIA drivers from www.nvidia.com, since they won't release them as GPL. If you do a search on the archives of the main list for NVIDIA, you will see numerous posts on this! My main tip is to make sure you d/l the correct kernel drivers, and also to read the install instructions VERY carefully. Also, if you look for the how-to for Nvidia cards at www.linuxnewbie.org you should find this helpful.
I got the drivers to work really well (after 2 or 3 attempts) with Mandrake 8.1, but it totally f*cked my Redhat box, and since I don't really play games, I haven't bothered to try again.
On Gnome-stones, 'New game' doesn't do anything,
I'm not sure, you may wish to find the website for Gnome Stones and upgrade the package- it may be a bug (or report the bug to them)
DrakeLogo doesn't run.
Not sure what that program is/does, you could try to run it from a terminal and see what it says.
On another note, technical questions should be sent to the the 'Main' list, rather than social-you'll get more responses!
